On The Hook

The fishing on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska is incredible. If you ever make the trip, be sure to drop a line in the Kenai River in Cooper Landing for salmon that bite all summer or charter one of the many ships in Homer where you can find enormous halibut. It’s totally worth the cost of renting equipment and buying a short term fishing license.

If you’d rather spend your time in the last frontier with other activities you could let someone else do the fishing for you, and we’d recommend the catch from a business called Sought Out Salmon based in Nikiski. Their blog is way out of date and they’re not easy to reach through their contact page, but the company is worth digging up if you’ve got the time.

Sought Out Salmon might also ring a bell for those interested in a cult called The Body. Maybe it’s a coincidence, but a church registered as Sought Out ANPC is in the same neighborhood as the fishing company. As it turns out, these dormant entities have even more in common than a zip code if you look at their receipts.

There are a lot of posts on SOS’s Wordpress that seem to coincide with pieces of the story published elsewhere on this website, but it’s the video on one page that’s screaming for attention. As has been discussed previously, The Body has mostly stayed offline, but the people in this YouTube are dead ringers for members of the cult and its leadership.

The guy in the black jacket is worth paying attention to. He appears as something of an extra, but he gets a few close ups and even made it into the thumbnail. Jesus, he looks familiar.

Notable- Websites need money and maintenance to survive, so it’s no surprise that SoughtOutSalmon.com sleeps with the digital fishes, but the rules are different for a Wordpress blog. Take a look at everything the Parker’s used to connect with customers at soughtoutsalmon.wordpress.com

It might be the least interesting cult URL you’ve ever seen, but there’s still plenty to reel in.
